The Shogun depends on your team of assassins to Eliminate the many enemies of the Shogunate, complete dangerous missions that will take you to many places throughout Japan it will be your choice how you’re going to execute these missions as long as you complete them. The Edo Period has begun, but there are still many loose ends and plots, conspiracies, and rebellions brewing threatening the uneasy peace. An uneasy peace has been forged between the Daimyos of Japan by the new shogunate government. If you're fond of samurai or ninja stories, you'll find a lot to love.Scale the walls of castles and assassinate the enemies of the shogunate in Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun, a hardcore real-time tactics stealth game made by Daedalic Entertainment. The story is well-executed if a bit archetypal, but gets MAJOR POINTS for actually using Japanese voice actors (the game was developed in Germany, btw). IIRC the demo is just the first mission of the game, which is fairly linear, but lets you play around w/ a ninja, samurai and gunner/sniper. IE the ninja can scale walls and lure enemies w/ distractions, while the samurai can attack multiple foes simultaneously and lure foes to specific locations. You control one of up to six characters and play them in real-time you can swap between characters at will, and even chain up certain commands to execute simultaneously each character is a different "class," with unique abilities. it's not an action game, so no, the action isn't terribly satisfying or fun. (Deponia games are pretty rubbish, though). It's more than worth the price, and some of the games included are pretty good, like Anna's Quest. You can grab it for $12 w/ the Daedalic Bundle.
